Today's PR brief for each of your brands: the news you can credibly comment on, labelled and scored, angles a reporter could use, the reporter who wrote each story, and the post, an X thread, an article, the pitch email and a quote, every fact checked. Nothing is ever sent for you.

Before you start

  • A PR profile per brandYour Standing (what you can credibly comment on), 1 to 8 Beat topics (3 or more work best), and the call to action link (your offer, set per brand). Competitors, Proof assets, a spokesperson and RSS feeds make it better.
  • Your Aha Studio accountMembers run 30 briefs a month. Without a plan the FREE DEMO runs one brief a day from one field. Unlimited with your own AI key and DataForSEO login after your first 14 days.
  • News dataGoogle News results come through DataForSEO. With your own DataForSEO key under Keys and connections the searches cost your plan nothing.
Every line the AI writes is checked in code: a number or a quoted claim that is not in the story or your proof assets is refused and never shown as written. Nothing is posted, emailed or pitched for you: every draft waits for you to copy, edit or schedule it.
PART 01

Set up the PR profile

0 of 7 done

One PR profile for you and one for each client profile, so one account can run PR for several brands.

  1. Open NewsJackrAt newsjackr.ahastudio.net, or press Start something new on your account page and choose PR brief.
  2. Pick the brand in ForMe, or one of your client profiles. Each keeps its own PR profile. Persona picks the voice the drafts are written in (your personas).
  3. Fill in PR profileStanding: what this brand can credibly comment on, in your words. Beat topics: short topics, one per line, the way you would search Google News. Competitors: up to 5 names; their news is read too.
  4. Add Proof assetsFacts you stand behind, one per line: results, numbers, years, customers you may name (up to 20). Only these and each story's own facts may appear in a draft. Leave it empty and the drafts claim no results at all.
  5. Spokesperson, call to action and feedsThe name and title the pitch email and the quote are written for; the call to action (your offer: its words and its link), which the posts, the last post of the X thread and the end of the article send readers to; and up to 5 RSS feeds. A new profile starts with the brand name and call to action from your profile or the client's.
  6. Or Fill from my websitePaste your website or one of its pages. Aha reads it (and its About page) and fills only the fields still empty: the brand, what you do, beat topics, proof assets and the spokesperson only as your site writes them, competitors only if named, and your main call to action. Each shows the page it came from; anything not on the pages is left out. One small AI step, counted like any other.
  7. Press SaveIt says Saved. Changes are also saved when you press Run. Nothing from your site is saved before you press it.
PART 02

Run today's brief

0 of 3 done
  1. Pick the countrySearch market: Google News is read for that country and language.
  2. Press Run today's briefThe steps tick off with a progress bar and the time each took: find the news, triage, angles, find the reporters, drafts, the meanest editor. A step that fails says why and has Retry; the work so far stays on screen.
  3. Close the page if you likeThe brief carries on on the server and is in Your work under PR briefs.
PART 03

Read the brief

The windowStories from the last 48 hours. When fewer than 5 are that new, the last 7 days count, and the brief says so.
DuplicatesThe same story from several outlets is merged into one row ("also in 2 more").
Pitch readyYou can credibly add a comment a reporter would use: it fits your standing and the story is still moving.
Big storyA major story in your space, too big to pitch into, worth a commentary post.
WatchRelevant, with no angle for you yet. Junk (ads, press release spam, off-topic) is dropped.
Score and reasonNewsworthiness for your brand today, 1 to 10, with a one-line reason.
AnglesFor the top 3 stories (pitch ready first, then big stories), 3 to 5 angles a reporter could use, best first, each naming the proof asset it leans on or "Story only".
Who to pitchFor each top story, the reporter named in the article's byline (its schema.org data, its author tag or the byline on the page), their outlet and author page, and only the contacts the outlet published: an email, an X handle or a LinkedIn profile, on the article or the author page, each with the page it was found on. A shared inbox (tips@, news@) or the outlet's own account never counts, and an email address is never guessed. The page is read only where the site's robots.txt allows it, one request at a time per site.
The draftsFor the best angle of each top story, as tabs: the LinkedIn post, the X post, the X thread, the article, the pitch email with 3 subject lines, the quote your spokesperson could give, and a short blog intro. Each has Copy.
The pitch emailIt starts with "To:" the reporter at their outlet (with their email when the outlet published one) and greets them by first name. With no named byline it says so and leaves [Reporter name] for you.
The X thread5 to 8 posts, the hook first, each within X's 280 characters (a link counts as 23), the call to action in the last post. Written for the top 3 stories.
The articleA blog article of 600 to 1,000 words in Markdown, with a title and section headings, written from the angle in your voice, with the facts from the story and your proof assets only, moving to your call to action near the end.
The meanest editorA harsh veteran PR director critiques the drafts, then they are rewritten once. The critique is shown, and Before the editor keeps the first drafts.
The fact checkAny number or quoted claim not in the story or your proof assets is refused, and so is a claim of results when you have no proof assets. The X thread and the article are also held to their rules (5 to 8 posts within X's limit; 600 to 1,000 words). A refused angle is dropped, a refused rewrite falls back to the first draft, and every refusal is listed under The fact check.
PART 04

Hand it on

Send to Social PublisherAfter you confirm: the LinkedIn post goes to LinkedIn and Facebook and the X post to X and Bluesky, from 09:00 tomorrow in your time zone, on the channels you have connected. The others are saved in Social Publisher as drafts. You can edit or cancel any of them there.
Write it in SEO MagnetsOpens an SEO Magnets article with the story's beat topic as the search and the angle as the brief.
Write it in SpeedWritrOpens SpeedWritr as a blog post with the blog intro in the Say it box. Read it over and add your own take, then press Hear my points.
Schedule the thread on XAfter you confirm: the X thread goes to Social Publisher as one thread on X from 09:00 tomorrow in your time zone when X is connected, otherwise as a draft there to copy or schedule later.
Send the article to WordPress as a draftOn the Article tab, with a site connected under Account > Publishing: the article is saved as a draft post, title and headings included. Sending again updates the same post. You publish it from WordPress.
The pitch emailCopy it into your own email and send it yourself. NewsJackr never sends anything and never guesses an email address.
PART 05

Get it on a schedule

Turn it onAfter your first brief for a profile, press Get this every morning under the brief. It runs every weekday at 07:00 in your time zone, for that profile, in the country and voice of that brief. It is off until you turn it on.
Change itThe Scheduled brief card on the PR profile: Off, Weekdays, Every day, Weekly (pick the day) or Monthly (pick the day of the month; the 29th to 31st fall on the last day of a shorter month), and the time. It shows the next brief ("Next brief: tomorrow 07:00") and how the last one went. Each brand or client keeps its own.
What each schedule coversWeekdays and Every day: the news of the last 48 hours (the last 7 days when it is thin). Weekly: the whole week, the last 7 days. Monthly: the time since the previous monthly brief, 31 days at most (31 for the first one). Each brief searches once per beat topic and competitor, like any brief, and keeps its best stories.
Only new storiesStories your briefs for that profile already went through are left out (the last 14 days for a daily brief, 21 for weekly, 45 for monthly), by link and by a near-identical title, and the brief says how many.
The emailWhen the brief is done you get "3 stories you can jump on today": each story's headline, why it fits and the best angle, with a link to open the brief for the drafts. Only Pitch ready and Big stories (or a high score) make it.
Nothing newOn a day with nothing new or nothing good enough, no email is sent. The Scheduled brief card says "Nothing new today". Weekly and monthly emails are titled "Your weekly NewsJackr brief" (or monthly).
It counts like any briefEach daily brief counts toward your monthly briefs and your monthly AI amount. When they are used up, the day is skipped and you get one email that month saying so; it starts again by itself when they reset on the 1st, or as soon as your own AI or DataForSEO key covers it.
Pause itEvery email has a Pause link that works without signing in. After 14 emails in a row with no brief opened, it pauses itself and emails you a one-click Resume link. Opening any daily brief counts as reading it.
Nothing is sent for youThe daily brief only finds the news and writes the drafts. Nothing is posted, emailed or pitched for you.
PART 06

The Opportunities board

What it isOn the NewsJackr page (and linked from Your work under PR briefs): every Pitch ready or strong story from all your briefs for the profile in For, newest first, one card per story even when several briefs had it. It reads the briefs you have: no new news search and no cost.
Each cardThe headline, the outlet and date, why it fits, the best angle, Open the brief for its drafts, and its age.
StatusNew, Working on it, Done or Dismissed. The filters show To do (New and Working on it), each status, or All. Remove takes a card off the board.
PriorityStar keeps a card on top; Up and Down set your own order.
AgeingA story older than 5 days (change it on the board) is flagged Ageing, so you can let a trend that died go.
PART 07

The free demo

One field, Niche or website, and the country. The AI reads the niche (or the website's own page) for your standing and 4 beat topics, then finds today's news, triages it and shows the top 3 stories with one angle and one draft post each, after the editor's pass. There are no proof assets on the demo, so the drafts use only the story's own facts and claim no results. With a website, the post ends with a link to it; without one it ends with a placeholder for your call to action. The demo does not look up reporters and writes neither the X thread nor the article.

One brief a day from one connection, with a daily limit for everyone. Nobody is charged. Signed-in members never use the demo: they run from their PR profile.
